Escape the Room challenge

As a reward for their hard work so far this year, Year 6 were treated to a special code-cracking event. Similar to an “Escape the Room” style challenge, the children had to decipher six cryptic Computing related challenges to reveal words making up a famous Shakespeare phrase.

Once all challenges were completed, against the clock, the children arranged the words to form the phrase “as good luck would have it” – found in Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Challenges included QR codes, a letter revealing Beebot, a semaphore task, a Scratch puzzle, an anagram and the augmented reality app Aurasma!

Well done to the winning groups who found the phrase in the fastest time.
