Next week is Wellbeing Week at Thomas Buxton. With the spotlight on everyone’s mental health and wellbeing at the moment, it is more important than ever that we all know how to look after ourselves and each other.
This year’s theme is NATURE and how to use it to help us have good mental health. The children will take part in an assembly on Monday, which will explain what the week is all about, why mental health is so important and what we can do to look after it.
They will take part in daily activities which focus on the 5 Ways to Wellbeing: Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Learn and Give and learn strategies to help support them to have good mental health, including a session with our Art Therapist.
