    First convert the numbers.
    0.3=0.30
    0.42+0.30=0.72

    b)0.28+0.32=0.60
    0.60=0.6

    First convert the litres.
    Eva =1/4 of a litre is 0.25 L
    Mo=0.3
    Whitney= 1/10 of a litre is 0.1
    0.3+0.1=0.4

    Then do 0.25+0.3+0.4
    0.25+0.3+0.4=0.25+0.30+0.40
    0.25+0.30+0.40=0.25+0.70
    0.25+0.70=0.95

    The answer is 0.95

    Mo’s mistake was that he forgot to carry the ten over.

    The real answers are:
