Eid Celebration: What does Eid mean to you and your family?

Dear Thomas Buxton Community,

As the end of Ramadan draws close, we are starting to look forward to Eid-Ul-Fitr this year and will be celebrating this important festival and its meaning next Thursday 21st May on Zoom.

We would love for families to share their interpretation of what Eid means to you (as well as how you are preparing) and are asking pupils to send in their work related to this. It could be a drawing, a painting, a poem, a photo of a specially cooked dish or your special clothes, a song or anything else creative that you can think of! There are some pictures below to give you some ideas.

Please email in a photo of your work to your year group mailbox with your name and class so that we can collate all the amazing work and share it during the Eid Celebration zoom meeting next Thursday.

We can’t wait to see what you share! Details of the Zoom celebration will be released soon. Ramadan Mubarak to all of our families during this special time of year.
