My best memory...
One of the best memories I had in Thomas Buxton was when we had our last trip to go to South end, it was a roller coaster of emotions (literally!). We cried, we laughed, but most importantly, we enjoyed the company of each other. Each and every one of us desired to be the best we can be thinking about what we want to be in the future and aspiring to be whatever we can. If I could turn back time, then I would come back here and start my education all over again because this school is the best school you could ever go to. Lots of love to the teachers and supervisors and everyone who helped me to get to where I am now, love you all.
And now...
I am now in a sixth form college in Swanlea, currently studying health and social care, thriving to get into nursing, helping others and saving people's lives. :)

Meeting fantastic teachers that have shaped me on the path that I’m on and supported me. One in particular would be Mr Rebelo and I hope to see him again :)

In my school, GCSES start from Year 9. So currently, being a Year 9 student, I am doing two GCSEs (Spanish and Film Studies). I have also carried on and taken football into my secondary life and am now the captain of my school football team!

This was a really fun part of my life. The teachers, the assistant teachers, the kitchen staff and everyone else did a really good (OUTSTANDING!!!!!) part of my 8 years in this school. It was really hard to see all my friends and teachers cry. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!

My best memory...
There are too many lovely memories to count. I recall doing the All Blacks Hakka with John (from New Zealand) in year 6; it was the only dance at school I liked! I remember great times with Gavin as my teacher in The Hut; the kids who’d end up in his class would consider themselves privileged. I remember playing ‘throwing,’ the astonishingly simple ball-throwing game that became the thing you looked forward to every break time. I remember Miss Rehana, Shewli, Ruksana, Aysha, Maggie and many other TAs that became like aunts, often keeping us in line but with love. I remember Miss Maryam, who’s become a legend to everyone she’s taught for being a second-mother at school, and she’s taught two generations of our family! And there are plenty more people I remember fondly - the list would be too long - and for whom I will always be grateful.
So many good times being a kid in Thomas Buxton. It’s a chapter in life I cherish dearly and I’d love to be a kid there all over again.

I’m a teacher! Interestingly, I’ve even done a couple of supply days at Thomas Buxton in the past. It was super nostalgic to be back and even more of a bizarre experience to be in the teacher’s seat - to sit in the same classroom you were in at the age of 4 is really something.
Why not search for other people who left in 1998?
