Year 6 have been learning how to create interactive Viking quizzes using Scratch this term.
The first step towards creating our quizzes was to think of several closed questions that we could include.
The next step was to plan our game using a storyboard.
After that, we used Scratch to create backgrounds and sprites to make our programming really come to life!
We used a series of different programming blocks to achieve our outcomes – including operators and sensing blocks. The operator blocks were vital for programming the correct answers.
When we found certain parts of our algorithm were not achieving the desired effect, we had to collaboratively debug our code.
Have a go at the quizzes in our blog – make sure your Flash player and speakers are turned on!
