Over the last two weeks, we have been making a concerted effort to reduce the amount of energy we are wasting.
We started Switch Off Fortnight with an assembly presented by our Eco-Committee, who told us about our campaign to make sure we are switching off lights and other electronic devices when we leave our classrooms.
Every break time and lunch time, our Eco-Committee dedicated their time to monitoring how many lights and interactive whiteboards had been switched off when not in use.
Well done to every class for making a HUGE effort to reduce the amount of energy we are wasting!
A very special well done to Cuba class who had the most improved score between week one and week two!
Chile class and Cambodia class had the most devices switched off in Week 1 and Week 2 respectively!
Let’s make sure we make switching off devices that are not being used a regular habit both at school and at home.
